NBA was responsible for the design of wet standpipes along the alignment in accordance with BART criteria for aerial structures (retained fill, retained cut (open cut) street under crossing and at grade sections along the alignment).  NBA also was responsible for the design of the under car deluge system for the Sierra/Lundy undercrossing. All designs were per BFS, NFPA 14 & I5, State Fire Marshall, and local authorities’ requirements.
